Those of you who aren't in the know need to be in the know of this dude's music. He is a conglomeration of all that is funky and tight-drought neatness; gangsta, jazzy, and classic. A mix of styles in the radical sense of everything. Think of an episode of the Twilight Zone (black and white type, peoples) with Samuel L. Jackson walking around throwing up a piece (or a "gun") in everyone's face, while Miles Davis music is howling and haunting in the background, UFO's are taking over the earth, and 1940's propaganda signals are pouring out through a neighborhood loud speaker. His music is kind of like that, but better. The link to his site from the indie record label Stones Throw (whom he had a HUGE part in creating) is provided below, along with a picture of the eclectic bloke. Lastly, a song from an album he did a few years back with MF DOOM, a monstrous indie hip hop MC. The album was called "Madvillian" and in my opinion, is one of the finest in independent hip hop albums you will ever find. That's the TRUUF.
