"Solar Gambling" by Omar Rodriguez-Lopez

The Mars Volta has been a HUGE force in music the past 6 years. I have seen them a handful of times (Austin, Atlanta, Milan) and each time they seemed to have gotten better. Their music is well written and composed. Well let's be honest, it is more of a composition by a psychedelic-crazed composer of the 21st century. These songs and rhythms and sounds and tones were brewed in outerspace. The collaboration they collectively bring is unlike any other. So, her is the 13th solo album from the guitarist, the virtuoso Omar Rodriguez-Lopez. Fantastic, again!
