And while in Dublin, Leeds, and London

What better way to start off than to show a little of what I've been doing the past few months. My last trip was in the UK and Ireland, for my birthday this year (23 OCT). 25 I turned and it whas an elegant, rocking good time. My lady (Valeria) with baby in uterus, took off on the 22nd of Oct from Sicily. This picture is taken from across the Thames river, looking at Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

This second picture is a picture of Leeds, from a small bridge in the center of the city. Leeds is a charming city, university town, and there seems to be much to do. So what brought us ot the quaint town of Leeds, you ask? Well I'll tell you what.. MUSIC! The reason was to see THE DEAD WEATHER, the new supergroup composed of Jack White (White Stripes), Aliso Mosshart (The Kills), Dan Fertita (Queens of the Stone Age), Jack Lawrence (The Raconteurs). Deep, devil heavy blues and psychedelia. And here are some photos of the show, folks!

I took a few of the show, but now as many as I wanted. The show was at the O2 Academy in downtown Leeds. Val and I sat on the balcony, where only special and pregnant (atttttta GIRRRRL, VAL!!) can sit, plus we bought tickets for the balcony. They were going to close it due to low ticket sales, but we told the big dude at the stars Val's "condition" and he let us up. It was great, because of the view we had. And another great thing was the bar sent a chick up to take drink orders. Bam, shawty! But it sucked due to the security guard caring waaaaay too much about his job, breaking people's asses for taking pictures. So I broke out some super secret spy shit, such as stretching and hiding it in an umbrella, to take these candid photos. Jack white was playing guitar in these photos, because that's where the dude belongs. He is a normal drummer at best, but this man's skills go beyond comprehension. A multi-instrumentalist with great talent. But you could really tell when he was on the electric fiddle. DAMN. I started to cry. Great show, great music. The sense and the mood was right.
